The development of the recipes for GINOLOGIST GIN took place in glass kettles - so really like in a physics laboratory. But the many experiments have borne fruit. Their FLORAL RECIPE 01 GIN has won the award as South Africa's best gin!
The name GINOLOGIST GIN goes back to the scientific approach behind the gin brand. It is a contraction of gin - and the Greek root ologist. And a GINOLOGIST is a gin expert
Color: Crystal clear.
Nose: Fresh, mild and delicate. Flowery and fresh notes with geranium in the center, with a slight strength and warmth from the juniper berries.
Taste: Aromatic and floral - fresh and light, almost tastes like a spring day in a field of flowers. The gin has a mild body with clear floral notes, where the geranium and its citrus-influenced freshness show beautifully. But the gin's juniper character also stands out nicely.
Texture: Soft and delicious.
Aftertaste: Floral and slightly sweet flavor in the center. The orange blossom provides aromatic freshness and in the aftertaste you get a little more fullness – a light herbal note and crisp juniper berries.
Mixed With: We recommend Indian Tonic and orange peel as a garnish, possibly garnished with some edible flower petals!
